A guided tour of each institution (Technological Museum of Slovenia in Bistra and the Vrhnika municipal utility company) is two hours each. The visits are thematic and focus on the meaning of forests, water sources, biodiversity, and the rational of waste treatment (waste segregation, their treatment at the collection centre, technologies of waste disposal, and how the wastewater treatment plant works).
The price of a combined ticket, which includes a visit and guided tours of both institutions, is € 5,00 per person (with a minimum of 20 persons per group).
You can start your visit at the Bistra complex, a former monastery and today one of the largest museums in Slovenia, on the brink of the Ljubljana marshes, and continue to the municipal company, or in the reverse order.
The combined visit is intended for students of the first two triads of primary school.
