In 2009, the exhibition Flying Man, Stanko Bloudek (1890-1959) marked the 50th anniversary of the death of Stanko Bloudek, aviation pioneer, constructor, inventor, versatile athlete and builder. Bloudek combines the vision of a flying man with top-class sports, technical and inventive skills, initially in the design of planes and later on developing and constructing ski jumps at home and abroad. The exhibition was realized within the framework of the cooperation of various institutions and experts for individual fields, which tried to highlight all areas of Bloudek's activity (sport, aviation, jumping, architecture, construction). On this occasion, the TMS also published the Flying Man Catalogue, Stanko Bloudek (1890-1959), that speaks about Bloudek's life and work. Authors: dr. Sandi Sitar, mag. Boris Brovinsky, dr. Iztok Durjava, dr. Sonja Ifko, Jelko Gros, Tomaž Verdnik, dr. Orest Jarh Ljubljana: TMS, 2009 Pages: 72 Browse the catalogue the Flying Man, Stanko Bloudek (1890-1959) in English.
