Museum Wednesdays: Jugoton
28. August @ 10:00 - 11:00
On Wednesday, August 28th, at 10.00 we would like to invite children, youth and also their parents to join us at the Technical Museum of Slovenia in Bistra near Vrhnika and listen with us to the tunes of Jugoton.
Jugoton was once the largest record label in Yugoslavia. It was founded in 1947 and today it is a symbol of Yugo-nostalgia because of its cultural role in the period of Yugoslavia.
The younger visitors will make a simple audio device and test it on a real turntable. The workshop is suitable for children of the age 7 – 12.
You may join the worshop by purchasing a museum ticket.
The adventure is part of the accompanying program of the exhibition “East of Eden – Jugoton 1947-1991”.
