Electricity

The electrical engineering department extends through two rooms in the old part of the Bistra complex along the former monastery chapel:

• The ground floor space contains exhibits showing the development of electrification of Slovenia and the new permanent exhibition Caution, electricity!

We invite you to join us on a virtual walk through the exhibition.

• Above the agricultural department there is an extended exhibition entitled The Man who Tamed the Electricity, which is dedicated to the work and inventions of the Croatian-born US physicist Nikola Tesla (1856-1943).
