The exhibition ‘Barjanka’ presents images of the Ljubljana Marshes, which are presented with photographs by renowned photographers and by imaginative medal designs for the Barjanka recreational bicycle marathon. Students of the Secondary School of Design and Photography in Ljubljana chose the mosaic landscape of the Ljubljana Marshes, which defines the area. The exhibition was prepared by the Ljubljana Marshes Landscape Park Institute in cooperation with the Secondary School of Design and Photography in Ljubljana and with the sponsorship of Tourism Ljubljana. The exhibition also marks the 40th anniversary of the bicycle marathon ‘Franja’, of which marathon Barjanka is a part of. Visitors may visit the exhibition ‘Barjanka’ in TMS Bistra between July and August, 2021.
