Photography for Personal Use

Visitors may take photographs at the Technical Museum of Slovenia for their own personal, non-commercial use. When doing so, they must follow the museum’s visitor guidelines and help protect the museum’s collections and heritage. Touching museum objects, climbing over barriers, or engaging in any other behaviour that could endanger the objects or visitors is not permitted.

The use of flash photography is permitted, provided that it does not disturb other visitors.

Professional, Commercial and Promotional Photography and Filming

Professional and commercial photography and filming, promotional productions, media filming, and the creation of content for clients or promotional purposes must be announced in advance and approved by the management of the Technical Museum of Slovenia.

The following rules apply to such photography and filming:

• Prior notification and approval: Before the photography or filming takes place, a completed photography/filming application form must be submitted and written approval from the museum management obtained. Photography or filming on the premises of the Technical Museum of Slovenia is not permitted without prior approval.
• Fees: Professional, commercial and promotional photography and filming are subject to a fee in accordance with the museum’s current price list.
• Protection of museum heritage: All photography and filming must be carried out in a manner that does not endanger museum objects, premises or visitors, and in accordance with the instructions of museum staff.

Wedding Photography

Wedding photography is permitted exclusively in the museum park and is subject to a fee. Photography is possible on all days of the week, except Saturdays, when it is only possible by prior arrangement and provided that no wedding is scheduled in the park.
