Demonstrations in TMS Bistra

Pupils of the third triad and high school students learn about life of George Vega, the most visible representative of the mathematical and natural sciences of Slovenian descent. Theory of forces and moving loads is demonstrated on wooden models of physical devices, manufactured by Janko Samsa after the illustration Vega textbook Vorlesungen über die Mathematik. The models were constructed for the 200th anniversary of the death of the scientist.
