On Thursday, November 27, 2025, the national film festival Prva klapa – Meeting of the Youngest Film and Video Creators of Slovenia took place in Novo Mesto. Among the 30 films that made it to the finals was the film Halo, Peter!, created by students of the Polhov Gradec Elementary School.
The film reflects on the current issue of excessive smartphone use and was created during a spring workshop at the Museum of Post and Telecommunications under the mentorship of Andreja Goetz.
Halo, Peter! received a gold plaque, and the festival’s children’s jury declared it the best animated film of the festival.
