Edvard Prodan (1909-1990) and his innovative continuous printing machine
In year 2011 on Internationa International Museum Day we opened the exhibition Edvard Prodan (1909-1990) and his innovative continuous printing machine.
In 1955, Slovene inventor Edvard Prodan designed and constructed the first machine for the continuous printing of textiles and PVC bands, which he upgraded in 1957 for colour printing. He filed a patent for both machine and process and was granted the Yugoslav, as well as international patent, in Switzerland.
